The Automotive Body Technician role is a full-time, on-site position responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies after collisions while ensuring a positive experience for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and restore vehicle bodies after collisions.
  • Assess damage and remove or replace panels.
  • Straighten frames and align body components.
  • Sand, prime, and paint surfaces.
  • Blend paint to match OEM finishes.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with service advisors and shop team members.
  • Document repair steps and meet production timelines.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.
  • Follow shop safety procedures.
  • Support a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in collision repair and auto body work.
  • Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and repair tasks related to body components.
  • Experience with paint preparation, color matching, and refinishing techniques.
  • Ability to interpret repair estimates and follow OEM procedures.
  • Previous experience as an automotive body technician or in a related role.
  • Relevant certifications like I-CAR or ASE in Collision Repair are preferred.
  • Commitment to safety practices and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and operate shop equipment.
