The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures, performing preventative maintenance, and training team members.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production team as the mechanical expert.
  • Ensure production and support equipment are functioning properly.
  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Make repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed.
  • Perform basic electrical duties such as replacing motors and switches.
  • Perform package changeovers on lines as required.
  • Support the team on all aspects of the operation.
  • Train team members on mechanical processes.
  • Focus on continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage preventative maintenance.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • High school diploma or GED, or 2-4 years related experience and/or training.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or a flexible schedule as required.
  • Proficient knowledge in the operation of continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Knowledge of various mechanical processes such as hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Responsible for providing basic tools including metric and standard wrenches, sockets, and screwdrivers.
