Overview

The Maintenance Tech II role involves providing specialized maintenance support for complex production machinery and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced maintenance and installation work on complex industrial systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electronics and instrumentation.
  • Fabricate close-tolerance parts and components as needed.
  • Install, repair, overhaul, and perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
  • Use routine and specialized maintenance equipment, including test meters and power tools.
  • Track daily repairs and associated costs and order parts as necessary.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to Maintenance Technician I employees.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with ISO Environmental Management System and Quality Management System requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma from an accredited two-year technical school in a related technical discipline.
  • Five or more years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and instrumentation maintenance concepts.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
  • Ability to safely operate routine maintenance tools and specialized equipment.
  • Knowledge of materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and PVC.
