Overview

Hartzell Aerospace Welding, part of Hartzell Aviation, is seeking a TIG Welder to support its growing business. The company is committed to innovation and quality in aviation, offering competitive starting wages for both entry-level and experienced candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld customer parts and assemblies as requested.
  • Work on high variety, low volume part projects.
  • Ensure at least 90% of completed parts pass the inspection process.
  • Propose viable semi-annual process improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety policies and guidelines.
  • Complete necessary documentation for tracking work.
  • Maintain general shop housekeeping.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Successful completion of an accredited welding course or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • 5-10 years of high-level TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
  • Capability to stand or sit for prolonged periods while performing job duties.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
