Overview

Azenta Inc. is a global leader in life sciences, focusing on automated bio sample management solutions and genomic services. The 1st Shift TIG Welder will perform various welding operations, ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing biological storage units.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all welds meet quality assurance standards
  • Determines appropriate welds per specifications
  • Efficiently and effectively manages time and resources
  • Performs various other duties as necessary

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Welding School Degree/Certificate highly preferred
  • Previous TIG Welding Experience
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
  • Above average math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately
  • Knowledge of basic shop tools
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Critical attention to detail
