Overview

XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is seeking an experienced Temporary Maintenance Technician for an immediate opening in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience, particularly with electrical systems and welding.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair duties as needed.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
  • Perform basic electrical repairs and maintenance.
  • Complete welding and fabrication-related repairs as needed.
  • Inspect equipment and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
  • Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous industrial, facility, or mechanical maintenance experience required.
  • Electrical experience strongly preferred.
  • Welding experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to diagnose and complete basic equipment repairs.
  • Must be reliable and ready to start quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to safety and detail.
