Overview

Toshiba International Corporation is a leader in the design and manufacture of motors and power electronics products, operating a large manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. The Assembler I position involves performing subassembly tasks while receiving training on assembly practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repeated subassembly tasks while receiving training.
  • Requires prolonged periods of standing, bending on a concrete floor.
  • Perform mechanical assembly, including lifting and climbing to install equipment.
  • Bend and route cables per provided drawings.
  • Start assembly tasks under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
  • Maintain a clean working area.
