Overview

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 for their Event Services team, responsible for providing specialized broadcast power support for live sports and media productions. This role is on-site in Pearland, TX, and is open to military-affiliated job seekers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized broadcast power support for live sports and media productions.
  • Install, commission, service, and repair Aggreko generators and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures on Events Services and in service centers.
  • Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate power requirements.
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs and overhauls within budget.
  • Read and comprehend electrical schematics and service manuals.
  • Promote safe working conditions in accordance with regulations.
  • Interface with a remote operations center to prevent equipment failures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to travel extensively, up to 75%.
  • Previous experience with event and entertainment.
  • Experience servicing, testing, and installing commercial HVAC or industrial diesel generators.
