Overview

We are looking for a talented Power Generation Workshop Technician to join our team specializing in Power Generation in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance and basic repairs on generators while engaging with customers in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Complete preventative maintenance and basic repairs on generators at customer sites.
  • Engage with customers courteously and professionally.
  • Use specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Complete required documentation such as service worksheets and timesheets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of the work area and tools.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report issues to supervisors.

Requirements

  • Apprentice Trained Power Generation / Electrical Technician (Preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution
  • Current relevant electrical certification
  • Locally Valid Driving Permit (Preferred)
  • Intermediate level knowledge of power generation products
  • High Voltage/Low Voltage practical experience
  • Must have RV Genset experience
  • Strong diagnostics skills
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments.
