Overview

The Field Service Technician I position at Leidos involves providing customer support through the installation, modification, and repair of complex security equipment and systems. Responsibilities

  • Performing customer support activities involving the installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
  • Conducting on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order.
  • Isolating equipment start-up malfunctions and taking corrective action.
  • Performing ad-hoc and predetermined work assignments with instructions.
  • Following all established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
  • Managing resources, maintaining schedules, and coordinating all repair activities in priority sequence.
  • Working in a customer environment with systems operated in a 24/7 environment requiring immediate response times.
  • Accepting and updating work orders in CRM systems such as Salesforce, Maximo, and GURU.

Requirements

  • Related trade experience (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or military training.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Computer literacy and competency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel at short notice.
  • Ability to pass an in-depth background check (TSA eQIP).
