Overview

A leading flavor manufacturer located in Dayton, NJ is seeking a Sanitary Welder/Industrial Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sanitary processing environments such as food, beverage, dairy, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality welding on piping and components to meet sanitary standards.
  • Fabricate and install custom sanitary process piping, tanks, and structural components based on blueprints and isometric drawings.
  • Ensure welds are free from contamination, pinholes, and defects, using borescopes and dye-penetrant testing when needed.
  • Fit, tack, and assemble piping systems including elbows, tees, valves, and flanges.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, valves, conveyors, and mixers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in welding and maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
  • Must be certified.
  • Sanitary welding experience.
