Overview

Hubbell is seeking a Caster for the 1st Shift Casting, Large Box department in the Chatsworth, CA facility. The role involves working with polymer concrete casted enclosures and offers a starting pay of $20.50 per hour, along with a retention bonus after 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Dress, fill, and demold polymer concrete casted parts.
  • Operate overhead crane, electric hand truck, and various hand tools.
  • Work efficiently toward departmental goals.
  • Maintain a clean work area and follow good housekeeping practices.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and report unsafe activities.

Requirements

  • Heavy manufacturing or construction experience preferred.
  • High school diploma preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a group environment and ask for help when needed.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
