Overview

The Fire Sprinkler Install Helper position is an entry-level role at Century Fire Protection in Fort Worth, TX, responsible for assisting with the installation of fire sprinkler systems on construction and retrofit projects while learning essential techniques and safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities.
  • Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
  • Cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision.
  • Assist with hanging pipe, installing hangers, and setting sprinkler heads.
  • Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup activities.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • 0-2 years’ experience; construction or mechanical experience a plus.
  • Basic computer skills, including email.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and variable weather conditions.
