The Operator position in Dallas, TX involves terminal operations for the safe and efficient handling of refined petroleum products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform terminal operations activities involving the receipt, storage, transfer, blending, and loading of refined petroleum products.
  • Perform manual valve line ups and batch cuts.
  • Operate and monitor terminal equipment and facilities including product storage tanks and pipelines.
  • Conduct product quality control activities including sampling and testing.
  • Support truck-to-tank blending operations and coordinate product movements.
  • Monitor product inventories, tank levels, and terminal operating conditions.
  • Perform routine inspections of terminal assets and identify maintenance needs.
  • Provide customer support related to product movements and terminal access.
  • Coordinate with various departments regarding terminal operations.
  • Complete regulatory and operational documentation.
  • Respond to abnormal operating conditions and emergency situations.
  • Maintain terminal grounds and equipment according to safety standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for terminal operations.
  • Provide operational support at other terminals as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Associates/Bachelors preferred.
  • Experience in terminal, refinery, pipeline, or related industrial operations preferred.
  • Experience operating industrial equipment preferred.
  • Experience performing inspections and quality control activities preferred.
  • Ability to learn and apply safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with employees and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Additional Information

  • Schedule is Monday - Friday, dayshift with some overtime and callout.
  • Employee is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions.
  • Travel to other locations up to 25%.
