Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual for a temporary Welding & Assembly Technician position lasting 12–24 weeks. No previous welding experience is required, and training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with welding and metal fabrication
  • Assemble and prepare metal components
  • Use basic hand and power tools
  • Follow drawings, measurements, and work instructions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Learn and follow proper shop safety procedures
  • Work efficiently as part of a team
  • Perform physically demanding tasks when necessary

Requirements

  • Reliable and punctual — being on time is extremely important
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work a 10-hour shift
  • Ability to work occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays when needed
  • Ability to safely perform physical shop work
  • Welding experience or education preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Experience with hand and power tools preferred
  • Fabrication, construction, automotive, or other hands-on experience preferred
  • Ability to read basic measurements and drawings preferred

Additional Information

  • Pay: $18/hour starting
  • Schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts
  • Overtime: Fridays may be required based on workload
