Overview

Travis Body & Trailer, Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for a permanent, full-time position in NW Houston. The company has a strong history of growth and quality in manufacturing trailers since 1989.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair on hydraulic ironworkers, brake presses, plasma cutters, cranes, welders, and lift trucks.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Identify components from parts breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot power transmission components, bearings, belts, and cams.
  • Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot robotic systems using knowledge of microprocessors and programmable controllers.

Requirements

  • Experience with hydraulic ironworkers, brake presses, plasma cutters, cranes, welders, and lift trucks.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Standards.
  • Ability to use electrical troubleshooting tools including multimeters and amp meters.
  • Welding experience preferred but not required.
  • CNC Plasma experience preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred but not required.
  • Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must have valid/unexpired TX DL and clean MVR.

Additional Information

  • Work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Occasional overtime in the evening or Saturday work.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions.
