Overview

REER Robotics is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician (FST) and an experienced Field Service Engineer (FSE) to support automated equipment deployment and maintenance operations. The roles involve installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and client management for robotic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform robot installation, mechanical assembly, and control cabinet wiring/cabling.
  • Execute preventive maintenance, routine sensor replacements, and basic equipment testing.
  • Assist lead engineers with system commissioning, deployment testing, and site handover.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting, night-shift monitoring, inspection, and issue escalation for client sites.
  • Lead full system commissioning, site integration, and robot programming for industrial automation systems.
  • Perform complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, deep diagnostics, and PLC logic analysis.
  • Conduct technical investigations to isolate root causes of system failures and deliver technical guidance.
  • Independently resolve client site issues, communicate progress, and provide daily technical reporting.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or industrial mechanical assembly.
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and handling power tools.
  • Strong physical capability for equipment installation and willingness to travel to project locations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics) or 3+ years of equivalent practical engineering experience.
  • Proven proficiency in industrial robotics, PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley), and electrical diagnostics.
  • Excellent technical communication skills and proven ability to work independently in fast-paced field environments.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English is required.
