Overview

The Instrumentation Fitter position involves assembling compressed air products and packages, utilizing the latest technologies and sustainable innovations. The role requires performing mechanical and electrical assembly in various environments while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and modify compressor packages systems and individual compressors, blowers, dryers, filters, and other compressed air products.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair assembled products.
  • Train for assembly of various products and cross-train to other assembly lines.
  • Utilize company-approved manufacturing techniques to ensure timely work flow.
  • Maintain high standards of work to meet organizational goals for delivery efficiency, performance, and quality.
  • Report bill of material issues during assembly to Engineering.
  • Document quality and performance issues using NCR Forms.
  • Perform physical labor in varying environmental conditions, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the plant in accordance with the company's 6S program.
  • Complete daily and weekly safety compliance and 6S logs.
  • Apply SafeStart safety training to reinforce safety practices.
  • Follow the company's 'Safety First' policy to prevent work-related accidents.
