Overview

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is seeking an Assembler Tester B for the 2nd Shift at their Los Angeles, CA facility, which designs and manufactures valves, regulators, and other fluid controls primarily for the Aerospace Industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, teardown, and test mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies.
  • Organize data and prepare test reports.
  • Perform lock wire/safety wire and nameplate.
  • Identify best practices and assist in process improvements.
  • Utilize hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, and soldering iron.
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and testing schematics.
  • Perform material preparation and visual inspection.
  • Use test equipment for in-process testing and final acceptance tests.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • 2 years in assembly within a manufacturing, aerospace, or military environment.
  • 2 years of testing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical assemblies.
  • Must be a U.S. person due to access to export-controlled information.
  • Preferred: 2 years prior test experience of hydraulic and electromechanical actuators.
  • Preferred: Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) certification.
  • Preferred: Associates degree in a technical field.
  • Preferred: Soldering experience.
  • Preferred: A&P License.
  • Preferred: Experience working in an FAA environment.

Additional Information

  • The hourly rate for this position is $27.03 + $2.00 shift differential per hour.
  • No relocation benefit is offered; only candidates residing within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA will be considered.
