Overview

Lippert is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of highly engineered products and customized solutions, focusing on the RV, marine, automotive, commercial vehicle, and building products industries. The Welding Robot Operator is responsible for safely operating robotic welding equipment and ensuring product quality through inspections and monitoring production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload workpieces into robotic welding fixtures and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Start, operate, monitor, and make basic adjustments to robotic welding machines and production lines.
  • Follow written work instructions, quality standards, and production specifications.
  • Perform visual inspections of completed weldments and finished parts to identify defects.
  • Test completed workpieces to verify weld integrity and compliance with quality requirements.
  • Remove defective parts from production and report quality concerns.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Ensure proper positioning and securing of parts in welding fixtures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • One or more years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, metal finishing, or production environment.
  • Ability to use a computer to access blueprints and CAD drawings.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and part numbers.

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • The position is on 1st Shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm.
