Overview

Englert is a leading manufacturer of metal roofing and gutter systems, dedicated to helping customers succeed. They are seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to manage day-to-day operations safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
  • Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
  • Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
  • Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
  • Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
  • Efficiently use standard and precision measuring equipment
  • Communicate finishing/quality concerns and equipment performance issues to appropriate personnel

Requirements

  • One year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
  • Experience using machinery
  • Ability to effectively and safely use a variety of hand measuring tools and small tools associated with machines
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Basic math skills for data input into the system
