Overview

Englert is a leading manufacturer of metal roofing and gutter systems, dedicated to helping customers succeed through innovation and unmatched customer service. They are seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift to manage day-to-day operations safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
  • Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
  • Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of the work area
  • Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
  • Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
  • Efficiently use standard and precision measuring equipment
  • Communicate finishing/quality concerns, service level statuses, and equipment performance issues

Requirements

  • One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
  • Experience using machinery
  • Ability to effectively and safely use a wide variety of hand measuring tools, wrenches, files, and various small tools
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Basic math skills for data input into the system
