Overview

Arconic is seeking a General Mechanic to join their Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit in Chandler, AZ. The company specializes in creating breakthrough products that solve complex engineering challenges and deliver quality and efficiency to ensure customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Be willing to work a fixed work schedule including evenings, nights, holidays, and overtime.
  • Design, fabricate, install, repair, modify and maintain machines, equipment, structures and facilities.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Access to controlled technology as defined in the Export Administration Regulations and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
  • Must pass a comprehensive online and hands-on skills test.
  • Pass a physical examination, drug screen test and background check.
  • Minimum of 5 years Journey person experience or equivalent maintaining heavy equipment with knowledge of welding, machine repair, millwright, hydraulics, sheet metal, pipe fitting, and blueprints.
