Overview

This Millwright position in Mesa, AZ involves demoing and installing new Wastewater Treatment Clarifiers, requiring rigging and crane signaling experience. The role is with Sundt Inc., a 100% employee-owned contractor focused on building long-term prosperity for clients and employee-owners.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lay-out and perform mechanical equipment setting, installation, alignment, and maintenance work.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
  • Produce high quality work safely and productively.
  • Provide feedback to ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and information.
  • Look for opportunities for improvement in tasks and be willing to learn from others.
  • Share knowledge and teach others.
  • Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, and transporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three to six years of experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the millwright trade.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

  • Work up to a 12 hour shift in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
  • Project is scheduled for 40+ hours per week.
