Overview

Komatsu, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of mining and construction equipment, is offering internship opportunities through the DoD SkillBridge program for transitioning active duty service members. Interns will receive training in servicing electric drive trucks and shovels, with the potential for nationwide full-time positions upon completion.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Komatsu construction and mining equipment.
  • Receive training on equipment maintenance, instrumentation and control systems, machining, and welding.

Requirements

  • Must be a current Active Duty Servicemember.
  • Must be separating from the Military in 8-12 months.
  • Must be able to complete up to a maximum of 120 days SkillBridge internship.
  • Must be able to complete 40 hours per week.
  • Willingness to learn and accept developmental feedback.
  • Preferred experience in maintenance and/or skilled trades such as electrician, machinist, or welder.
