Overview

The Warehouse Laborer position at PCL in Chandler, Arizona involves modifying shipping containers into functional storage spaces through general carpentry work. The role includes material handling and supporting warehouse organization, contributing to building better communities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and install wood or metal framing.
  • Install windows, doors, drywall, and related building materials.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and impact drivers.
  • Complete general carpentry work associated with modifying the shipping container.
  • Load, unload, move, organize, and store construction materials.
  • Assist with warehouse organization and material handling.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Perform miscellaneous warehouse and general labor duties as needed.
  • Follow all company safety requirements and project procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Previous carpentry, construction, or general labor experience is preferred.
  • Experience with framing, window and door installation, and drywall is an asset.
  • Proficiency in the safe use of common hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read measurements and complete accurate cuts and installations.
  • Ability to lift, carry, move, and organize construction materials.
  • Willingness to perform both carpentry and general warehouse/laborer duties.
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in an active construction and warehouse environment.
