Overview

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking Maintenance Mechanics in Philadelphia. This position involves the operation and maintenance of various HVAC/R systems and associated equipment in a commercial/industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all repairs and maintenance of heating/cooling and ventilating components.
• Conduct HVAC tasks involving piping systems, motors, controllers, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain air handlers and mechanical equipment by changing filters, belts, oil, and cleaning coils.
• Operate, install, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as air handlers and refrigeration systems.
• Respond to emergencies such as floods and power outages.
• Provide own basic hand tools and test equipment.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and layouts.

Requirements

• High school graduate equivalent.
• Three years of maintenance experience and two additional years in a boiler room.
• Ability to operate building automation systems.
• Philadelphia Class A license preferred.
• Universal Refrigeration Certification required.
• Must be able to read and speak English clearly.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Able to climb ladders and walk long distances.
• Able to pass background investigation without criminal history.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in all climate conditions.

Additional Information
