Overview

We are seeking a professional Maintenance Technician for our Palmetto, GA location to proactively address potential issues and maintain the facility's equipment and office systems. The ideal candidate will perform maintenance and repairs, ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform highly diversified duties to maintain facilities and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of facilities and/or equipment during production.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Utilize mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Recommend subcontractors to address problems as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience performing facility and equipment related maintenance in a large facility.
  • Experience working with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and material handling equipment.
