Overview

Landmark Automotive is seeking a motivated Body Shop Technician Apprentice with some body shop or automotive knowledge to develop into a professional collision repair technician. The role involves working alongside experienced body technicians to learn the collision repair process while assisting with daily repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced body technicians with collision repairs
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicles
  • Remove and reinstall bumpers, body panels, trim, lamps, and interior components
  • Organize and properly store removed parts and hardware
  • Assist with basic body and panel repairs as your skills develop
  • Learn proper collision repair procedures and techniques
  • Learn to identify damaged components and understand repair processes
  • Assist technicians in keeping repairs moving efficiently through the shop
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Attend department meetings and training
  • Follow all dealership and shop safety procedures

Requirements

  • Basic body shop or automotive knowledge required
  • Previous body shop, collision repair, mechanical, or automotive experience preferred
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to work well with experienced technicians and as part of a team
  • Valid and insurable driver's license
