Overview

Alsco Uniforms is a leader in the uniform and linen rental industry, serving over 350,000 customers globally since 1889. They are seeking a Maintenance Worker responsible for the preventative maintenance of industrial textile processing equipment and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic maintenance duties, including monitoring oil levels and preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Assist the Maintenance Technician and/or Chief Engineer as required.
  • Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
  • Assist in problem resolution to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Look for opportunities to improve maintenance processes.
  • Work cooperatively and professionally with all plant personnel.
  • Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed.

Requirements

  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrate adequate mechanical aptitude.
  • Be proficient in the use of power and hand tools.
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Be a team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.
