Overview

SpartanX LLC is seeking a dependable, motivated Traveling Electrician Helper to support electricians and residential solar field operations. This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to log eligible hours toward an electrical license while working with top-of-the-line solar technology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed electricians with residential solar electrical work
  • Support the installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring, disconnects, and related components
  • Assist with service upgrades and electrical modifications
  • Prepare electrical equipment, tools, and materials for installation
  • Perform electrical tasks under the direction of a licensed electrician
  • Support troubleshooting and corrective electrical work
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and electrical equipment
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Follow NEC requirements, company procedures, and safety standards
  • Work closely with electricians, installers, and field leadership to complete projects efficiently

Requirements

  • Previous electrical experience preferred
  • Solar or residential construction experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of electrical tools, materials, and safety practices
  • Interest in developing a long-term career in the electrical trade
  • Ability to follow direction and work effectively alongside licensed electricians
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to safely lift and carry materials and equipment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
