Overview

Lane Valente Industries is a leading international construction and facility maintenance company with a strong in-house group of field technicians servicing top U.S. corporations. They are currently seeking a General Maintenance Technician willing to travel for full-time commercial construction projects across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform commercial renovations and buildouts.
  • Follow OSHA requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to build relationships.
  • Document repairs made, including measurements, pictures, recommendations, and quotes.
  • Work overtime and/or on-call as needed.
  • Travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance.
  • Proficient in carpentry, including partition framing and installation of cabinetry.
  • Skilled in painting for both interior and exterior.
  • Experience in flooring installation including VCT, LVT, tile, and carpet squares.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, including installation of sinks and faucets.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical work, including installation of light fixtures and switches.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration.
  • Supply basic construction hand tools.
  • Complete OSHA 10hr training within 3 months of employment.
