Overview

China Jushi USA is a leading company in the fiberglass industry, seeking qualified candidates for hourly production team member positions in their Columbia, South Carolina manufacturing facility. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding of alloy metals.
  • Manage loss of platinum alloy during the welding process.
  • Read blueprints.
  • Use small hand tools for cleaning and fitting alloy pieces.
  • Place parts in jigs or holding fixtures for welding.
  • Assist team members with assembly, shaping, drilling, and leak testing.
  • Ensure overall safety, quantity, and quality of production.
  • Complete pre-requisites prior to welding.
  • Transition from fitter position to welder position.
  • Pass a welding test administered on-site after the interview.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of on-the-job experience in TIG welding of alloy metals is required.
  • Fuse welding experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work any shift, primarily Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
