Overview

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is seeking a motivated TIG Welder for the 2nd Shift in Jackson, MI. The position involves setting up and producing jobs while adhering to safety guidelines to meet Eaton and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Tig weld Titanium, Aluminum, Inconel, Stainless Steel, and Carbon materials.
  • Inspect parts using fixtures, gages, and other inspection equipment.
  • Use blueprints to accurately create welds.
  • Actively create a safe workspace and follow safety best practices.
  • Participate in cross-functional Lean/Continuous Improvement Teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Certification in Welding from an accredited institution or a minimum of 1 year of TIG Welding experience.
  • Must be a U.S. person to access export-controlled information.
  • Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of the work location.
