Overview

At Boeing, Millennium Space Systems focuses on national security space through innovative satellite technology. As a Harness Technician Sr, you will be instrumental in building and terminating wiring harnesses for spacecraft, contributing directly to mission success.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems
  • Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality for racks and boxes
  • Explain assembly procedures or techniques to co-workers
  • Work and take direction from the team leader for project completion
  • Confer with supervisors regarding any anticipated production problems
  • Cross-train and mentor new hires
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent high-reliability field
  • Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components
  • Ability to read schematics, harness wiring diagrams, layout drawings, mechanical drawings, circuit layouts, and parts lists
