Overview

Insight Global is looking for Field Service Engineers to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This role involves extensive travel for equipment installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to different sites for equipment installations.
  • Designate tool sets and customer assignments within the first 15 days.
  • Complete a 3-week training program within the first 30 days.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance on the equipment.

Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to articulate thought processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Experience using a Multimeter for continuity checks, amperage, voltage, and resistance.
  • Experience working with a torque wrench.
  • Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out Process (LOTO).

Additional Information

  • Job is 80% travel.
  • Travel for 6-8 weeks followed by an admin week at home.
