Overview

The Rope Access Technician is responsible for performing blade repairs on wind turbines, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing technical documentation. The role requires experience in wind turbine blade inspection and repair, along with various safety certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform blade repairs in accordance with technical instructions, standards, and guidelines.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, protocols, and industry standards.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive repair reports and other required technical documentation.
  • Ensure the accuracy of time tracking and reporting for all working hours and project tasks.
  • Operate and manage company vehicles, including vans, as needed.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings with all relevant on-site technicians to ensure alignment and safety.
  • Participate in and follow up on project meetings both on-site and remotely in coordination with the back-office.
  • Follow up on delivery and shipping coordination, control, registration, and approval of arriving goods.

Requirements

  • Experience in the inspection and repair of wind turbine blades from various leading manufacturers.
  • GWO Basic Safety Training.
  • Valid medical certificate.
  • Minimum blade B / Basic blade repair certificate.
  • Driver’s license cat. B.
  • Fluent English skills are required.
  • Must be a European Passport holder to apply.
