Overview

Luminator Technology Group is seeking a full-time Production Assembler II to join their dynamic Production team in Plano, Texas. This role involves complex assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities while supporting production goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical products according to engineering specifications.
• Perform intermediate to advanced assembly operations including wiring, soldering, and final product assembly.
• Conduct product testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and rework activities.
• Interpret schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and production documentation.
• Identify production, quality, or process issues and collaborate with relevant personnel for solutions.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of work through inspections and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for efficiency and quality.
• Train and mentor less experienced assemblers on assembly techniques and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and testing data.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Consistently meet production goals while maintaining high standards for workmanship.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting assembly instructions and technical drawings.
• Experience performing product testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and rework.
• Skilled in soldering both through-hole and surface-mount electronic components.
• Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve assembly or production issues.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to accurately use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
