Overview

The Professional Services Technician II at VivoAquatics is an advanced field role responsible for managing recurring client visits at commercial properties, diagnosing and resolving issues related to water chemistry and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. VivoAquatics is a national commercial aquatics company that manages water, equipment, and compliance for luxury resorts, fitness chains, and multifamily communities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled onsite visits for new and existing clients according to route schedule and contract scope.
  • Conduct chemical water testing and provide adjustment recommendations to keep bodies of water balanced, safe, and code-compliant.
  • Handle, transport, store, and apply pool chemicals safely and in accordance with company and site protocols.
  • Diagnose and resolve common and intermediate issues across chemical automation, sensors, and controllers.
  • Calibrate, verify, and troubleshoot probes and related instrumentation to maintain accurate readings and reliable automation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair VivoPoint-related systems, including controllers, modems, feed devices, tubing, and injectors.
  • Clean, inspect, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment.
  • Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of VivoPoint chemical feed systems.
  • Support new site launches, system upgrades, and remediation work from mobilization through completion.
  • Identify recurring issues across assigned sites and recommend corrective actions that improve long-term performance.
  • Record all service visit information in VivoPoint, including manual readings, service orders, and service reports.
  • Communicate directly with managers and billing regarding parts used, job completion, and follow-up needs.
  • Provide informal field support, coaching, and technical guidance to Junior Technicians.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in commercial aquatics or a comparable technical field preferred.
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification required within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial water chemistry and balancing.
  • Strong working knowledge of circulation, filtration, and chemical automation systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve most issues without escalation.
  • Comfort and competence with electrical and plumbing systems and the use of power tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
  • Solid computer and mobile device skills.

Additional Information

  • Position is field-based and requires travel up to 50%, including weekends, overnight, and holidays.
  • Candidates must be over the age of 21 and have a valid driver's license that has been valid for at least two years.
