Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing minor repairs in various areas of the theatre, ensuring equipment is in good working order, and representing Regal in accordance with its mission and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
  • Ensure all auditorium seats are in good working order and repair broken ones in a timely manner.
  • Perform tile work and sheet rock repair.
  • Train theatre personnel in the proper and safe way to perform minor repairs and/or maintenance.
  • Change light bulbs as needed.
  • Paint as required.
  • Perform daily inspections and report.
  • Conduct other minor repairs as needed.
  • Work with management to obtain qualified personnel for larger maintenance concerns.
  • Have knowledge to arm, disarm, and operate the alarm system.
  • Be aware of all safety and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Requirements

  • Prior maintenance experience preferred.
  • Certified as a cast member.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Interface effectively with co-workers and exhibit sensitivity to others.
