Overview

Enertech, a business unit of Curtiss-Wright, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Brea, CA to perform dimensional and visual inspections of machine parts. The role involves ensuring product quality through various inspection methods and adhering to engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, audit, measure, and functionally test products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages.
  • Perform inspection of incoming products to ensure proper paperwork and conformity to specifications.
  • Conduct in-process inspections of parts being manufactured.
  • Execute pre-shipment inspections.
  • Interpret and read engineering drawings and specifications for accurate part manufacturing.
  • Perform product and process audits for conformance to drawings/specifications.
  • Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of hands-on machine shop inspection experience required.
  • Knowledge and experience in Quality (ISO, Gage Calibration, Metrology, GD&T).
  • Ability to use inspection equipment such as Surface Plate, Height Gage, Comparator, and hand tools.
  • Ability to perform detailed review of documentation/certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Liquid Penetrant Examination experience.
  • Experience with Keyence measuring equipment.
