Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic — Operations Support (Mechanical) role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems to ensure efficient production. Candidates should be skilled in both independent and team-based work environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose issues quickly to keep production efficient and on schedule.
  • Operate machinery during repair and assist with operational tasks when needed.
  • Balance independent work with teamwork alongside experienced maintenance technicians.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to pass required assessment test(s).
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience—or formal education—in print reading and troubleshooting.
  • Comfort with rotating schedules, including weekends, plus overtime when required.

Additional Information

  • Safety procedures and guidelines must be followed without exception.
  • Full set of PPE is required: hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, and boots with metatarsal protection.
  • Be prepared for an industrial environment that can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, or noisy.
