Overview

The Production Operator 3 - Line Leader 1 role at Celestica involves performing moderately complex tasks related to the manufacture, assembly, repair, or modification of products. Responsibilities

  • Perform hand soldering and manual assembly.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain custom and standard semiautomatic and/or automated assembly equipment.
  • Inspect products using various inspection procedures.
  • Use diagnostic programs for electronic product testing.
  • Troubleshoot and communicate issues related to defects.
  • Demonstrate work methods to new employees.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or equivalent.
  • Specific certifications as defined by site operations.
  • General knowledge of product process flow and quality specifications.
  • Ability to recognize and communicate problems in the operation process.
  • Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and organized records.
  • Basic manufacturing system knowledge.
