Overview

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, is a leader in power distribution and protection systems, focusing on sophisticated relay and control panels, medium voltage switchgear, and enclosures. They are seeking a Building Assembler - Equipment Prep in Dallas, TX, to gather materials and assemble fabricated metal parts for substation building enclosures according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete assemblies.
  • Perform mechanical assembly of components including sheet metal and other materials.
  • Use various power tools and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure assembled products meet specifications.
  • Identify and report product defects.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and tools.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in assembly in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
  • Basic math skills to meet technical specifications.
  • Basic understanding of tools such as tape measures and impact drills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in safely operating powered equipment.
