Overview

Dematic is seeking talented Mechanical Installers to join a growing team. This position involves working on various customer projects across different locations in the continental USA, with a requirement for 100% travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Take personal responsibility for safety and the safety of others.
  • Complete assigned mechanical tasks within the allotted time and with high quality.
  • Take direction from the site supervisor or foreman.
  • Provide support to the site supervisor and foreman.
  • Travel 100% to customer sites within the USA.
  • Lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Push, pull, squat, crawl, and walk around large construction sites in various climates and environments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; technical degree or specialized training preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Experience in conveyor system layout, component pre-assembly, header steel installation, platform and structural steel erection, conveyor installation, guard rail, rack, air piping, detailing and run-in of installed equipment.
