Overview

The Industrial Welder & Pipefitter is responsible for industrial welding, fabrication, installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of piping systems and related equipment in a safety-focused environment. Candidates should have the ability to interpret blueprints and perform high-quality welding in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on tanks, vessels, piping systems, and structural systems.
  • Layout and fabricate new and replacement piping systems, as well as install valves and related equipment.
  • Maintain required welding certifications, including B31.1 and 6G stainless steel certifications.
  • Interpret blueprints and isometric drawings to plan layout and welding operations.
  • Test and inspect completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Maintain accurate work documentation and provide feedback on service delivery discrepancies.
  • Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; AA degree in Welding preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in industrial welding and repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric diagrams.
  • Certification in B31.1 Pipe Welding Code and 6-G in stainless steel.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
