Quest Global delivers world-class end-to-end engineering solutions by leveraging deep industry knowledge and digital expertise. The company is looking for a Package Design and Integration Specialist to contribute to meaningful work and solve critical challenges across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop the detailed mechanical design of rotating equipment packages.
• Design structural steel baseplates and release drawings and bills of materials.
• Conduct calculations for static and dynamic loading at foundation interface.
• Develop overall general arrangement drawings for rotating equipment trains.
• Create detailed piping models, pipe spool fabrication drawings, and design piping supports.
• Conduct detailed design of coupling guards and prepare fabrication drawings.
• Manage 3D models of rotating equipment trains to ensure efficient assembly.
• Assemble overall utility consumption and customer connection lists.
• Specify and design overall package lifting tools and prepare lifting arrangements.
• Author purchase specifications for equipment like baseplates and anti-vibration mounts.
• Conduct design reviews on PK scope and attend project design reviews.
• Lead 3D model reviews internally and externally.
• Support the Project Lead Engineer with internal and external clients.
• Support production activities, including disposition of non-conformances.
• Provide support to bid management and front end engineering.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience with a focus on detail design.
• Associate level degree required.
• Experience in Turbo Compressor Design.
• Experience in Control Systems Design.
• Proficient in Teamcenter, COMOS, and JIRA.
• Knowledge of industry standards API 614 and API 617.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Experience with SAP or other MRP systems is strongly preferred.

Additional Information

• This role is considered an on-site position located in Houston, TX.
• 10% travel is required.
