Overview

The Threadline Attendant operates and assists in pipe threading functions according to plant policies, ensuring a safe and compliant operation during their shift.

Responsibilities

• Report to the immediate supervisor for briefing on daily tasks.
• Follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
• Provide and assist with maintenance on the equipment being operated.
• Maintain good housekeeping ethics and keep the work area free of debris.
• Assist in verifying and recording production and findings in the ERP System.
• Produce prime threads in conformance to required specifications.
• Ensure product meets specifications throughout the threading process.
• Assist in clean-up, repair, and replacement of equipment during maintenance shutdowns.
• Communicate with the Threading Supervisor regarding concerns or questions.
• Assist with changeovers.
• Help with documentation and technical devices for recording production and findings.
• Communicate any problems with material and equipment to the Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1 year experience or on-the-job training preferred but not required.
• Knowledge and experience within the OCTG pipe manufacturing industry is preferable.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of threading processes, procedures, and technical instruments is a plus but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with a flexible schedule which may require overtime.
• Understanding of applicable safety rules and regulations.

• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
• Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted on site.
• Ability to lift 25/50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
• Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in loud, hot environments/extreme weather while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to see 20-20 when corrected.
• Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
