Overview

The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program, offering hands-on experience in the energy industry while enhancing professional and interpersonal skills. Kinder Morgan is one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America, operating approximately 78,000 miles of pipelines and 136 terminals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Codes and Standards support for Federal and State regulatory compliance.
  • Manage projects related to pipeline integrity and remediation, including project scoping and cost estimates.
  • Support field integrity services for pipeline integrity assessment and remediation projects.

Requirements

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams.
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to speak publicly in front of groups.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team and individual environments.
  • Attention to detail and strong computer skills.
  • Open to travel in the United States.
