Putzmeister is a leader in concrete pump manufacturing and support, focusing on innovation and excellence. The Field Service Technician in Houston will build and maintain business relationships, providing premier product support and resolving customer equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage time and territory to resolve customers’ equipment problems in the field.
• Travel to customer locations to perform troubleshooting on various equipment issues.
• Communicate information regarding repairs and customer-related issues professionally.
• Provide in-service or commissioning of new equipment at customer locations.
• Train customers and agents on machine operation and repair techniques.
• Provide technical support to agents/customers via multiple communication channels.
• Coordinate Boom inspections and welding repairs for customers.
• Support Authorized Service Centers for repair work and parts purchases.
• Evaluate and select potential Service Centers against established standards.
• Prepare and file timely field service reports.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of technical experience.
• Associates or BS degree in Engineering, Heavy Equipment Technology, or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Multi-lingual individual a plus (Spanish and/or German).
• Concrete industry experience a plus.
• Mandatory safety training.
• On-the-job training.
